Wikipedia APA: An edit-a-thon for cultural presence

Presented by the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Wikipedia is one of the most widely-used resources in the world for general information. Whether you’re a seasoned Wikipedian, an A/P/A studies scholar, or completely new to all of this, your voice is needed to add to the presence of cultural, historic, and artistic information on Wikipedia about Asian/Pacific American (A/PA) experiences.

RSVP on Facebook. Not in New York City? Multiple satellite edit-a-thons will also happen simultaneously across the country and online.

Co-sponsored by the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU and Asian American Writers’ Workshop.

Venue: Coalition for Queens
