The summer institute host institution A/P/A Institute is located on the New York University campus at the heart of downtown New York City. A block of on-campus dormitory apartment-style rooms located in Gramercy Green at 310 Third Avenue (between 23rd and 24th Streets) have been reserved at a low cost. The apartment-style rooms are double rooms (shared) and are fitted with two large single beds, bathroom, and modern appliances including refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. There is a computer room with internet, modern gym, laundry, bike storage, and game and TV rooms. Alternatively, you may choose to acquire housing outside of the University’s on-campus housing.


A/P/A Institute at NYU is located at 41-51 E. 11th Street, Fl. 7 between University Place and Broadway. The Institute is situated by the Union Square area in New York City, which houses an array of shops, bookstores, restaurants and seasonal farmer’s market. The closest Subway stops are the N, R, Q, 4, 5, 6 at the Union Square station, the F at the 14th Street station, and A, C, E trains at the West 4th Street station. The closest airports to New York City are:

Amtrak trains stop at Penn Station. Greyhound buses stop at the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 41st Street and 8th Avenue. Other buses are also available which stop in New York City.
