KŪKULU: Pillars Standing Together opens in NYU’s Schwartz Plaza Vitrines with ceremony on Tuesday, May 9 at 5:30 p.m. The exhibition, curated by Pua Case and Lehuanani DeFranco, chronicles and honors those in New York who have stood for the protection of Mauna Kea and other sacred Indigenous sites.
Sponsored by the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU and Mauna Kea Education and Awareness, the exhibition is free to the public 24/7, Wednesday, May 10-Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
