A/P/A Institute Scholar Slam

Each year, the A/P/A Institute at NYU sponsors scholars and artists to further research projects using the libraries and archives at NYU. On December 10, 2015, the Institute hosts its second Scholar Slam featuring 10-minute (and 10-slide) presentations from four  Visiting Scholar: Beatrice Glow (on post-colonialism and Pantone color palettes), Ryan Wong (on 1970s and 80s Asian American activism and art practice), Andy Yan (on real estate, Manhattan’s Chinatown, and transnational flows of people and capital), and Selma Bidlingmaier (on eugenics, social Darwinism, and gentrification).
