“Dr. Jack Shaheen’s deeply rooted hope was for scholars, professors and students to utilize his significant collection documenting how Arabs and Muslims are portrayed in film and television, and for them to expand on it through their own research in pursuit of peace, understanding, and justice. This collection was archived by A/P/A in such a caring, meticulous, and assiduous manner by their devoted and kindhearted staff. Having this accessible repository at NYU provides such lasting purpose and meaning, for which we are enormously grateful.”
