A Celebration of Life: Christine Choy

Presented by Third World Newsreel in partnership with the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU and Asian CineVision.
Join us to remember Christine Choy, NYU professor, co-founder of Third World Newsreel, and prolific filmmaker and activist.
A selection of clips from Choy’s films will be screened. Guests will be invited to speak about Choy’s impact on them as filmmakers, colleagues, friends, and community members. Together, we hope to reflect on her contributions to Asian American filmmaking and the organizations she helped to build.
