Join A/P/A Reads for a discussion of “Without Enhancements: Sexual Violence in the Everyday Lives of Asian American Women” by erin Khuê Ninh, a powerful essay exploring the influence of the model-minority racial project on Asian American women’s experiences and perspectives on sexual violence. This meeting is rescheduled from September 2023. 

Launched in Fall 2020, A/P/A Reads is a student-run book club for NYU students with an interest in A/P/A writing and literature. Members meet monthly to discuss selected works, and engage in meaningful dialogue together. The club is sponsored by the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU.
