- Venue: NYU Kimmel Center for University Life, Commuter Lounge
- Address:
60 Washington Square South, 2nd Floor
New York, NY 10003 United States
Presented by the Governance Council of Minority & Marginalized Students at NYU. Co-sponsored by the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU, LUCHA at NYU, Black Student Union at NYU, and NYU Steinhardt GSO.
The Being@NYU survey is NYU’s way to measure diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at the university. The assessment is only statistically relevant if 30% of the university—students, faculty and staff—complete it. Thousands of people need to fill out the survey to make sure that the results can be used.
The Governance Council of Minority & Marginalized Students (GCOMMS), a council of over 25 clubs and organizations on campus, is coming together to throw an event to create a shared space for NYU community members to complete the survey. There will be food, music, and giveaways.
