More detail: https://apa.nyu.edu/event/community-discussion-2023-supreme-court-ruling-on-affirmative-action/
Update: This event has been postponed. A new date and time will be announced.
Hosted by A/P/A BRIDGE and the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU.
This NYU student community discussion on the 2023 Supreme Court ruling on affirmative action will center the experiences of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities. The program will begin with a brief framing and overview of the ruling, led by Professor Mike Hoa Nguyen (NYU Steinhardt). A discussion, facilitated by members of A/P/A BRIDGE, will follow. Dinner will be provided.
A/P/A BRIDGE was created by Asian/Pacific/American (A/P/A) student leaders through the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU to cultivate “A/P/A” as a political identity. The group serves to foster spaces for the discussion of race, identity, and politics; and develop community organizing and leadership skills.
This event is open to all NYU students.
Accessibility note: This venue has an elevator, all-gender restrooms, and is accessible for wheelchair users. If you have any access needs, please email apa.rsvp@nyu.edu.
