Celebrate with producer, activist and cultural worker DJ Rekha and invited guests as she kicks off her year as A/P/A Institute’s 2006-07 newest Artist-in-Residence. DJ Rekha grew up between London and New York, where she finds her inspiration for her broad range of music, including the tracks on her new album “DJ Rekha Presents Basement Bhangra.” Her Basement Bhangra and Bollywood Disco nights in New York City continue, going on nearly ten years.
