Join us for a panel on Asians in the fashion industry curated by Sally Wu, fashion designer for Milly and contemporary art curator. The panel will feature contemporary art curator and model Mie Iwatsuki, fashion designer Gemma Kahng, fashion industry branding expert Susan Shin, Sally Wu, and moderator Thuy Linh Tu, Assistant Professor at NYU’s A/P/A Studies Program in the Department of Social and Cultural analysis. Fashion Matters: Imaging Asians in Fashion will explore brand, industry, and frameworks of visual flows of Asians in the fashion industry both in the U.S. and in Asia.
