The NYU Tisch Grad Film Mentorship series welcomes queer Korean filmmaker Andrew Ahn to NYU to share his work.
Events include a Tuesday, February 14, 4:15 p.m. screening of Spa Night, and Q&A with Ahn about his first indie feature. NYU community members can register for the February 14 screening via this Google form.
On Wednesday, February 15 at 6:30 p.m., a screening of Fire Island (Fox Searchlight) will be followed by a discussion with the director Andrew Ahn and cinematographer Felipe Vara De Rey. This filmmakers will discuss their process developing the visual language of Fire Island, the on set shooting experience, and other aspects of production. This screening is part of the NYU Tisch Grad Film’s Chair’s Workshop. NYU community members can register for the February 15 screening via this Google form.
Both screenings will take place at 721 Broadway, tenth floor.
