Kūkulu: A Chant & Hula Workshop

Presented by Nā ʻŌiwi NYC and the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU. Sponsored by Mauna Kea Education and Awareness of KAHEA, The Wallace Action Fund of Tides Foundation, RESIST, Honor the Earth, and Native Studies Forum.

In this chant and hula workshop, participants will learn a set of chants practiced on Mauna Kea. The workshop will be led by Kumu Hula Pua Case, Mauna Kea Protector. Please bring pā’ū, water, and a recording device. Please email naoiwinyc@gmail.com with any questions.
