Join us for an opening ceremony for KŪKULU: Pillars Standing Together featuring remarks from co-curator Lehuanani DeFranco (Kānaka ʻŌiwi); Chief Dwaine Perry (Ramapough-Lunaape Nation); Chenae Bullock (Shinnecock/Montauk), Founder/CEO of Moskehtu Consulting and Cultural Preservationist; Roberto Mukaro Burrero (Taino), Human Rights Advocate and Cultural Advisor; and Cliff Matias (Kichwa/Taino), Cultural Director at Redhawk Indigenous Arts Council, Founder of Reddrum MC.
Directions and accessibility: The Schwartz Plaza Vitrines are visible to the public 24/7 in the brick passage-way between NYU Bobst Library and NYU Stern, directly south of Washington Square East and across from founder’s memorial.
