Presented by Red Canary Song in collaboration with the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU, Center for the Study of Gender & Sexuality, and Intersectional Feminist/Queer Studies Collective.

Join us to mark the opening of Our Inner Quarters: Spaces of Work & Care, curated by Yin Q and Chong Gu of Red Canary Song (RCS). The curators and members of the grassroots collective of migrant massage workers, sex workers, and allies of the Asian diaspora lead a walk through the exhibition. Traditional Korean fare will be offered by Charlotte, RCS core member, Korean Outreach Lead, and Mxtress of Kimchi.

This exhibition reconstructs intimate body work space and traces the origins and core community of RCS, based in Flushing, Queens, through installation, everyday objects, oral history recordings, video, artwork, and a library of zines and books by RCS core members and allied community members.

Accessibility note: This venue is on the ground floor and is accessible for wheelchair users. There are single-stall, all gender restrooms available. If you have any access needs, please email apa.rsvp@nyu.edu.
