As a follow-up to the student check-in, “Life in the Time of COVID-19: Countering Isolation and Anti-Asian Violence through Community,” we invite you to come together with other members of the A/P/A NYU community for conversation, crafts, and joy. Graduate students Cindy Gao (PhD candidate, NYU Department of Social & Cultural Analysis)and Linda Luu (PhD candidate, NYU Department of Social & Cultural Analysis) will present a thirty-minute teach-in on the history and political context of anti-Asian violence in New York City.
NYU undergraduate & graduate students, faculty, and staff are all welcome. Lunch will be served.
