Poetry X Climate Change, 4:30pm – 6:30pm
Relax with an After March program of Poetry and Advocacy, highlighting the issues, concerns, and work of poets and climate activists at the Dupont Underground arts space hosted by poet Sarah Browning (Split this Rock). Performances will feature poet and activists Lyla June Johnston (Center for Earth Ethics), Reverend Leo Woodberry, and Mindahi Crescencio Bastida Muñoz.
Speakers will include Karenna Gore (Director, Center for Earth Ethics), Catherine Flowers (Director of Environmental Justice and Civic Engagement, Center for Earth Ethics), and Nicholas Mirzoeff (Visual Cultures, NYU).
Art from The Illuminator Collective, and artists Mary Ting, Rosemary Feit Covey, Arrin & Kia of Wollam Gardens, and Christian A. Mendoza, and others will be on display.
