This panel places in conversation feminist and queer scholars working on sexual politics, nationalism, and identity in India, Turkey, and Lebanon, to consider the ways in which the consolidation of political power in each of these locations depends on particular sexual and gender ideologies. Featuring Jyoti Puri (Simmons College), Evren Savci (Yale University), and Sara Mourad (Global Visiting Scholar at CSGS, American University in Beirut). No registration required.
