The Muslim student groups at New York University cordially invite all Muslim university students in the tri-state area to their first ever Muslim Student Organizing Conference. The three-day conference (Friday, August 12-Sunday, August 14) aims to provide Muslim college students with the tools to create meaningful change, and will feature seventeen skill and knowledge-based workshops designed for students to gain tangible skills and substantive knowledge that they can put into action. Workshops will include: “Know Your Rights,””Intersections of Race, Class, Gender, and Faith in the U.S.,” “How to Write an Op-Ed,” “Grassroots Organizing 101,” and more.
