In conjunction with
EXQUISITE CRISIS & ENCOUNTERS exhibition
A conversation moderated by curator Yong Soon Min

The conversation brings together some of the artists in the exhibition from across the country with cultural critics to examine the various legacies and vestiges of the 1992 LA Riots and its resonances in the different communities and contexts to the present day. The conversation will also center on the rich array of cultural production, including the current Exquisite Crisis exhibition, that have responded to this history.

The evening features Min Hyoung Song (author of Strange Future: Pessimism and the LA Riots), members of Detroit based Other: Arab Artists Collective, and Fred Wilson among other speakers.
