Join us for a very special book talk with Tony-award winning playwright David Henry Hwang in discussion on his writings including his latest Obie award-winning play Yellow Face, published by Theater Communications Group.
Actor Francis Jue will reprise his Obie- and multi-award winning role from Yellow Face, reading scenes from the play with Hwang. Hwang will also be in conversation on themes within Yellow Face, such as race and representation, with Professor Karen Shimakawa of the NYU Performance Studies Department.
