On October 20, the NYU Kevorkian Center for Near Eastern Studies and A/P/A Institute at NYU hosted Mining the Archive: A Conversation on Anti-Arab and Islamophobic Visual Culture. The program featured readings and remarks from novelist Marina Budhos (Watched) and scholars Salah D. Hassan (Associate Professor, Michigan State University), Helga Tawil-Souri (Director, NYU Kevorkian Center for Near Eastern Studies), and Jack Tchen (Founding Director, A/P/A Institute at NYU).
